Jacob Halldorson, Chief Executive Officer


Jake Halldorson is Chief Executive Officer of Aqua-Pure Ventures, Inc., and he has served on the Board of Directors of the company since March 30, 1998. He was previously a senior executive and founding partner of Colt Engineering Corporation, a Calgary-based private engineering firm founded in 1973. Halldorson was directly involved in the creation of the Syncrude Strategic Alliance and the Imperial Oil/Colt Alliance, which he managed for a two-year period. He has also served as a director of Net Shepherd Inc., a public corporation listed on The Alberta Stock Exchange, the Chairman of Anadime Corporation, a public corporation listed on The Toronto Stock Exchange and as director of Axia NetMedia Corporation, a public corporation listed on The Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Halldorson is also a director and officer of Hallmark Resources Ltd.

Harold Lauman, Aqua-Pure President


Harold Lauman has served as President of Aqua-Pure Ventures since the company’s IPO in 1996. He has also been President of Haron Research Corp., the founders of Aqua-Pure’s primary technology, since 1992. Prior to his current roles, Mr. Lauman served as District Manager for Browning Ferris Industries from 1989-1995, and as General Manager for Cenoka Industries Ltd., from 1977-1989.

Delzon “Possum” Elenburg, Fountain Quail President


Delzon Elenburg recognized the need for new water management practices in the shale gas industry. He founded Fountain Quail Water Management and began looking for water treatment options for the Barnett Shale from 1999-2001. After trying a number of solutions, he met Aqua-Pure in Canada and the two companies began developing the NOMAD technology to meet the rigors of Barnett Shale water management.

Elenburg has an extensive oilfield background that started with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Commerce from Texas Christian University in 1958, where he played quarterback for the TCU Horned Frogs football team. He began his career in the oilfield service sector, then became Vice President of Finance for Elenburg Exploration, which became a premier exploration drilling contractor. Between 1974 and 1981, Mr. Elenburg founded Circle Seven Drilling and Circle Seven Production which were sold to Parker and Parsley Oil (Midland, Texas) for more than $60 million. From 1981 to 1987, he was the Vice President of Finance and Business Development for Elenburg Manufacturing in Haver, Montana.

Elenburg’s varied and wide-ranging oilfield background has helped Fountain Quail grow and thrive in the industry. His integrity, optimism and forward vision are valued by the entire Fountain Quail team.

Brent Halldorson, Chief Operating Officer


Brent Halldorson is Chief Operating Officer for Aqua-Pure, and he also manages Aqua-Pure’s US-based service company, Fountain Quail Water Management. Halldorson is a professional engineer that has been with the company since 1999. He has been instrumental in the development of Aqua-Pure’s mobile NOMAD evaporator treatment system for shale gas operations and other mobile treatment solutions for oil and gas operations throughout North America.

Halldorson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1994. He is a member of APEGGA (Alberta's Association of Professional Engineers). He currently lives in Flower Mound, Texas, with his wife and three children. Halldorson serves on the Town of Flower Mound's Oil & Gas Advisory Board.

Karim Teja, Chief Financial Officer


Karim Teja served as an officer of Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd., a TSX listed company. From June 1999 to June 2006 Mr. Teja was the Chief Financial Officer and from June 2006 to September 2007 he was the Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Teja was instrumental in transitioning the Company from a strictly R&D organization to a high growth company with revenues in excess of $30 Million and product installations and distribution partners in over 35 countries. Prior to Imaging Dynamics, Mr. Teja was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Erasoft Technologies Inc., a private software company where he helped negotiate a successful acquisition by Viasoft Inc., a NASDAQ listed company.

Mr. Teja holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with honors from Simon Fraser University and an honors certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute. He received the designation of Certified General Accountant (CGA) in 1992.

Patrick Horner, Vice President, Engineering


Patrick Horner is a Professional Chemical Engineer registered with APEGGA who has extensive experience with Oil and Gas Facility Process Design and Construction, Petro-chemical Plant Operation, and Industrial Wastewater Treatment. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta. A key portion of Mr. Horner’s experience has involved the project management of new technology trials in both petrochemical and wastewater applications. He was heavily involved in the design and construction of the NOMAD 2000 units and led the development of the gas shale pre-treatment system. Mr. Horner has extensive knowledge of gas shale water chemistry and the associated problems with fouling as well as planning and implementing trials and design changes to equipment in the field.

Terry Mauboules, Vice President, Operations


Terry Mauboules joined Fountain Quail in April 2010 after spending 20 years with American Airlines, where he most recently managed all aircraft maintenance activities at DFW International Airport, Texas -- American's largest domestic hub. Currently responsible for all of Fountain Quail's operations, Mauboules has built a strong leadership team capable of responding immediately to the various needs of the company's customers and business partners. Since joining Fountain Quail, his primary focus has been on improving the operational reliability of the NOMAD units and establishing streamlined maintenance and repair procedures. This has resulted in significant cost reductions while improving processing volumes and revenue.

Mauboules has extensive training in OSHA regulations, human factors, accident prevention and safety. He is a federally licensed aviation maintenance technician with an associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology. Mauboules has significant experience managing large unionized work forces and related management and support staffs. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family at their home in Flower Mound, Texas.

Luke Thomas, Vice President, Business Development


Luke Thomas joined Fountain Quail in 2011 to lead business development efforts in the Appalachian Basin and other emerging markets. Luke brings a long history of business development success to Fountain Quail. Thomas founded the Marcellus Institute in 2010 to support the Marcellus supply chain with unfiltered market intelligence. Thomas continues to distribute the widely acclaimed Marcellus Fairway e-newsletter highlighting the weekly activity within the Marcellus region. A lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania, center of the Marcellus play, he recognized the need for a thoughtful analysis and organization of the wide-ranging news relating to this emerging market. Thomas is a seasoned executive with a career spent launching market-changing technologies. As former EVP and COO of FLO Corporation, he oversaw all operational facets and strategic initiatives relating to the Registered Traveler and National Football League stadium access solutions. Additionally, he raised start-up capital to create a public vehicle for the company's stock and led the execution of two major acquisitions for FLO. Prior to joining FLO, Thomas served as Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Commercial Sales for Saflink, a security solutions company and Director of Commercial Sales for Identix, Inc. (now L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc.), an identity management and secure credentialing company. Thomas previously held various management, business development and product design roles in healthcare technology companies. Thomas has been featured in media campaigns including articles in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post and other leading mainstream media and trade journals. Thomas graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and emphasis in economics. He currently resides in Western Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.

Jaime Roman, Business Development


Jaime Roman has been with Fountain Quail since the beginning, currently serving as Business Development Manager. He helped guide the company through its pilot phase and into its operational phase in several roles, including Operations Manager and Texas Branch Manager. Mr. Roman has been involved in the design, set-up, commissioning and operation of Aqua-Pure's technology in North Texas. Prior to Fountain Quail, he worked in the environmental industry managing emergency response, chemical handling and remediation. He also has an extensive background in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Roman attended Texas Wesleyan University, where he studied accounting and finance and was a member of the basketball team.

Kathy Francisco, Controller


Kathy Francisco joined Fountain Quail in March 2008 as Financial Controller. Her background includes 17 years in finance and accounting. She holds a technical degree in accounting plus a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an Accounting emphasis. Prior to entering the accounting field, Francisco worked in the oil and gas industry as a Geophysical Analyst. Francisco is a member of the American Payroll Association.
