Mr. Richard Magnus, Chairman of Aqua Pure Ventures reports the company processed over 3 million bbls (126 million gal) of oilfield wastewater to date. Aqua-Pure, through it’s wholly owned subsidiary, Fountain Quail Water Management LLC processes flowback and produced water in the Barnett Shale area of Texas. The client, Devon Energy Corp. requested delivery of two more “Nomad" Units. These units will be delivered and commissioned in late November of 2007. These units will increase production capacity by approximately 28%.
Mr. Jacob Halldorson, CEO of Aqua-Pure states "It has been a long arduous journey to get the technology and production to a level we are comfortable with. Improvements are continuously being identified and implemented in order to increase production and reduce costs. We are also very pleased with our decision to alter our business model from being a product manufacturer to a build, own and operate model. Although we don’t realize the large profit in the short term, this decision will result in a secure future for the Company and shareholders. The Barnett Shale alone has the potential to utilize up to 60 Nomad units. Similar shale gas reservoirs are being identified worldwide."
