Aqua-Pure Announces Increased Salsnes Sales in Fourth Quarter

December 17, 2007 - Calgary, Alberta –Aqua-Pure Ventures Inc. announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Salsnes North America (SNA), had record sales during the fourth quarter. The company received orders for multiple Salsnes Filters in various industries, for gross sales of $600,000. All of the units will be commissioned and the revenue recognized in Q1 2008.

Rene Van Montfoort, V.P. of Sales for SNA, stated "We are very pleased that our revised marketing strategy is bearing fruit. Although we continue to pursue municipal operations, we have focused more on private sector companies with a need for solids separation. This has greatly increased the speed of the sales cycle, from 2-5 years for municipal applications to 2-5 months for private companies. We have introduced the Salsnes filter to very diverse applications where it is proving successful. These include: fish farms, fish hatcheries, cruise ships, food processing, wineries, composting facilities and breweries. As a result of our success in Western Canada, we will be employing the same marketing strategy in Eastern Canada commencing in January of 2008."

Salsnes North America has the exclusive distribution rights for the patented Salsnes Filter throughout Canada.
